San Diego Charger head coach Norv Turner has never been a fan favorite. His personality in games is non-existent and his conservative play calling can leave Charger fans frustrated. Turner's coaching record before the Chargers was 58-82-1. Despite this he has one thing the Chargers don't, a Super Bowl ring. He got both his rings when he served as offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys in 92' and 93'. Coach Turner's record in two seasons with the Chargers is 19-13, which hasn't exactly exceeded anyone's expectations. Even though coach Turner hasn't had the success the fans want, he has gotten the San Diego Chargers further in the playoffs than any other coach excluding Bobby Ross, who lead San Diego to the Super Bowl in 1994. Coach Turner, love him or hate him, if the end result is a playoff run and a Super Bowl Championship all will be forgiven.
