Chargers vs Kansas City Preview

On Sunday October 25th at 10am on CBS the San Diego Chargers(2-3) go up against the Kansas City Chiefs (1-5). San Diego is coming off it's Monday night meltdown against the Denver Broncos. Kansas City might be the rememdy to cure the Chargers losing ailments. This should be an interesting matchup, because the Chargers historically have always struggled to win in Arrowhead Stadium. KC is in a rebuilding stage at this point, but has added a few good pieces to their roster. QB Matt Cassel aquired via a trade with the Patriots is now running the offense. Injury prone running back Larry Johnson has seen his offensive numbers take a nose dive the past two seasons. Chargers running back Ladanian Tomlinson looks primed and ready to have a big day on the ground. He will be facing a defense that gives up 130 rushing yards per game. San Diego QB Phillip Rivers will be able to throw on the Chiefs generous 25th ranked pass defense. San Diego should have a balanced running and passing attack against the Chiefs anemic defense. Chargers fans put down that old lawn mower and pick up the remote. Tune into a game that should be the turning point in our season.
Prediction: Chargers 27 KC 13
